Canterbury Eagles FC was founded in 1979 with the aim of promoting football, sportsmanship and discipline.
The Club is still managed by a Committee of volunteer parents who uphold the Club ethos and ensure that it is run effectively, having regard for current guidelines and legislation.
The Club has a Constitution, Managers Agreement, Code of Conduct (both for players and parents), Child Protection Policy, Equal Opportunities Policy, an Emergency Treatment Policy and a Disciplinary Procedure.
The Club is affiliated to the Kent County Football Association and the ParkerSteel East Kent Youth Football League.
The Club is governed by their rulings.
The Club was the first EKYFL club to achieve the Charter Standard early in 2005 is very proud of that fact and continues to believe in the aims of the Charter.
All Officers and Managers are required to complete the necessary F.A. Volunteer application forms.
All Officers and Managers are required to complete a CRB check.
We aim to have all Managers and Coaches F.A. trained within their area of responsibility within 12 months of joining the Club.
This is dependant on available funds as each course costs around £150.
Sponsorship can be as little or as much as you see fit. However, if you sponsor for a kit or a set of fleeces/waterproofs we can add corporate logos.
Logos and links can also be added to our website.
The Club holds its A.G.M. in May each year. All members are invited and are informed of the past year's events, Club finances and future plans.
